BRIDLES

Western bridle
On the left: "Butterminx's" bridle, finished November 2000, with its handmade silver bit and split-sinew face ornament. On the right: "Malaguena's" bridle, completed July 1995. The bit was made in Mexico. This bridle was the one Susan learned 'how to do it' on, her first real rawhide braided miniature.

Cleghorn Presentation bridle
This braided-leather and braided-button bridle was presented to John Cleghorn, warden of Canyon City Prison, Colorado, between 1895 and 1909. Created in 2007 for NAMHSA auction.
