TONE CRITTERS
Stone Critters are manufactured by United Design [Corporation], which is based in Noble, Oklahoma. These animal figurines are made from hydrostone (it looks like sandstone). Stone Critters come in several sizes and can be divided into different groups.
Stone Critters are an average size of 4" x 2". This size includes four equine and five equine fantasy figurines: a standing horse in bucksin or sorrel [actually, it's bay but the company calls it sorrel], a Shetland Pony in palomino, a lying horse in "sorrel," a lying zebra, a lying unicorn, a rearing unicorn, a Christmas version of the rearing unicorn adorned with a wreath, a sitting unicorn mare & foal and a lying unicorn mare and foal (all the unicorns are white).
Stone Critters
Babies are an average size of 3" x 2" This size
includes one equine and one fantasy figurine: a colt in palomino
or "sorrel," and a sitting unicorn in white.
Stone Critters Littles are an average size of 1.8" x 1.5". This size includes two equines and two fantasy equines : a colt in palomino or "sorrel," a lying zebra, a lying pegasus and a lying unicorn (both fantasy figurines are in white).
I believe there was also a political donkey or two but the dealer's catalog (c.1994) I have does not list them.
