While frequent in ancient times, real parti-colors are almost never seen today within the Arabian breed, but they do occur in extreme rariety. The Arabian parti-colors are neither the tobiano, overo nor sabino type of pinto markings, but rather appear to be distinctly Arabian extensions of other types of unusual markings.
