Painted circa 1995, modified by other artist, refurbished 2009. Christ describes the work: It had been altered to a mare by the previous artist, who had put large nosrtils, lip and HEAVY mane and tail on her as well. I was to do what I could to correct her feet and pasterns, and fix the tail. But we decided I could re-work the face, forelock, mane and tail as well.
