Claude was sculpted by Maggie Bennett and was released in 2005. Due to molding and casting problems, he was discontinued at only 16 intact casts. To our knowledge, only 16 original, unpainted casts were sold and released. Maggie has some Claude “parts” and is resculpting them into one-of-a-kind models. Claude is a large Traditional size, rearing grade gelding. This model was unique because he required no supports and balanced simply on the back hooves and NOT on his tail as most sculptors must do to make the horse balance.
